Van Toan to debut for Nam Dinh next week, the amount of money used to bind Tien Linh at Binh Duong revealed, new developments regarding Ho Van Cuong’s move to the Hanoi Police Football Club…these are the noteworthy transfer news in V.League 2023/2024 on September 15.
HAGL secures a striker who once scored against Porto in the Portuguese National League
On September 15, HAGL announced a new foreign player signing to replace striker Brandao, whose contract was terminated after three seasons. The contract between the mountainous team and Mario Nunes Fernandes is valid for one year and does not involve a trial period.
Joao Mario Nunes Fernandes has played for several years in the Portuguese National League. In the 2019/20 season, he wore the Academica Viseu jersey in the Portuguese National League. The striker scored a goal against Porto, helping his team equalize the score to 1-1 and secure a valuable point.
SLNA secretly rejects the loan offer for Van Cuong from Hanoi Police Football Club
Song Lam Nghe An Football Club (SLNA) has registered its squad for the 2023 U21 National Championship. Coach Pham Bui Minh has included right-back Ho Van Cuong in the list. According to Bongdaplus, Song Lam Nghe An has plans to use Ho Van Cuong, with the U21 National Championship 2023 being a lever in the club’s strategy for the V.League 2023/24 season.
This means that the Nghe An team secretly rejected the offer from the Hanoi Police Football Club, a team that has been actively pursuing the talented defender who has impressed while playing for the Vietnamese U23 team.
Will Cong Phuong become Van Toan’s teammate at Nam Dinh?
“If Cong Phuong decides to return to V.League, there are several options for him,” writes Football Tribe in their Japanese edition. “It could be TP.HCM or Nam Dinh, the clubs that want to strengthen their attacking force. This is also the time when Cong Phuong is caught between two choices: continue pursuing his dream in Japan or return to Vietnam as before.”
This is because Cong Phuong has returned to V.League twice after unsuccessful experiences abroad. The first time was in 2017 when he returned to HAGL after a failed stint with Mito Hollyhock in Japan. The second time was in the second half of 2019. Since Cong Phuong couldn’t find opportunities from Incheon United (South Korea) to Sint Truidense (Belgium), he was loaned back to TP.HCM with a 6-month contract. Cong Phuong scored 6 goals in 12 matches.
Binh Duong offers Tien Linh a 3-year contract extension
Forward Nguyen Tien Linh is likely to renew his contract with Binh Duong Football Club. If the new contract is completed, Tien Linh’s deal with Binh Duong will be for approximately 3 years, with an annual salary of not less than 3.5 billion VND.
On the other hand, after successfully securing Tien Linh, Binh Duong will terminate their contract with striker Rimario ahead of schedule.
